The position requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work overtime when needed, and pass background and drug tests. Cleanliness and attention to detail are essential as you support a large warehouse environment.

• Restock disposables like soap and paper products; wipe mirrors and windows.
• Perform occasional custodial tasks such as shoveling snow and moving heavy items.
• Keep records on stock use and damage; report defects to supervisors.

Salary Range: $16.32 To $17.82 Hourly

The ideal candidate will be experienced in a custodian role focused on building upkeep. They will have great physical endurance to cover a large space. A keen eye for detail and diligence are also imperative in custodial maintenance jobs.

Responsibilities:

• Clean supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations
• Ensure spaces are prepared for the next day by taking out trash, tidying furniture and dusting surfaces
• Sweep and mop floors and vacuum carpets
• Wash and sanitize toilets, sinks and showers and restock disposables (e.g. soap)
• Wipe mirrors and windows
• Undertake occasional custodial and janitorial tasks (shoveling snow from the sidewalk, lifting heavy items, moving chairs etc.)
• Determine proper storage methods, identification and stock location based on turnover, environmental factors and physical capabilities of facilities
• Keep accurate records on the use and/or damage of stock and stock handling equipment
• Examine and inspect items for wear or defects prior to use; reporting any damage to supervisors
• Perform other related duties as assigned
