Optimum Communications Inc. is seeking a Logistics Specialist I to support warehousing and distribution operations at our Texas facility.

You will unload, receive, store, pack, and ship inventory, track movements, and assist with inventory accuracy while upholding safety standards. The role requires a valid driver''s license, ability to lift 50 pounds, and capacity to work both independently and with team members in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must possess and maintain a valid driver''s license in good standing.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Standing for prolonged periods.
• Knowledge of basic mathematics and electronics.
• Ability to operate a vehicle and forklift safely.
• Ability to work independently and with others.
• Compliance with all safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Unloads, receives, stores, packages, loads, and ships inventory items (e.g., cable converter boxes, broadband modems, fiber cable, installation kit accessories, network system hardware, telephones and accessories for business telephony).
• Prepare, maintain and file proper forms for material movement and transactions.
• Completes all necessary receiving and shipping transactions for accuracy.
• Tracks the movement of inventory from receipt to shipment.
• Participates in training of Logistics Specialist I.
• Participates in periodic warehouse inventory and cycle counts; verify counts and investigate discrepancies.
