Job summary

Pref-Tech is looking for a Warehouse Associate to manage inbound and outbound shipments at the Dallas/Houston area, ensuring accurate documentation and efficient inventory control. The role includes coordinating with vendors, maintaining warehouse organization, and supporting fleet needs with a strong emphasis on safety and accuracy.

Ideal candidates will have 2+ years of relevant experience, be proficient in MS Office, and capable of heavy lifting up to 75 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Display a positive attitude and be a team player.
• Ability to lift 50–75 lbs unassisted.
• Read, analyze, and interpret shipping docs.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• At least 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Familiarity with shipping platforms (FedEx, UPS).

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming shipments.
• Reconcile quantities with packing slips and POs.
• Label materials and organize storage areas.
• Maintain a clean, organized warehouse space.
• Assist project teams with storage, retrieval, and deployment of materials.
• Assist with material returns and vendor coordination.
• Operate forklift competently and safely.
• Handle shipping/receiving with third-party carriers as needed.
