Job summary

The Tile Shop in Naperville, IL is seeking a Warehouse Associate to read orders, assemble shipments, and keep stock accurate. You will sort items, label back stock, process paperwork, and move inventory using a forklift. The role requires physical stamina and attention to safety.

You will participate in cycle counts, maintain clean storage areas, and work Saturdays as part of a team-focused environment with competitive pay, HSA contributions, and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Strong work ethic and safety awareness.
• Forklift certification or willingness to be certified.
• Excellent organizational skills and basic math.
• Basic computer skills and record keeping ability.
• Knowledge of proper safety measures while handling inventory.
• Ability to move and lift 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs.
• Ability to work Saturdays on a 5-day schedule.

Responsibilities

• Read customer orders and assemble orders from stock for shipment.
• Sort and place materials on racks by size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Complete shipping/receiving paperwork and participate in cycle counts.
• Ensure accuracy of store inventory at all times.
• Label orders and back stock clearly.
• Move inventory using forklifts and inspect equipment for safety.
• Enter records into computer and maintain clean, organized storage areas.
• Load and unload customer vehicles and obtain signatures as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
