Job summary

The Tile Shop is seeking a Warehouse Associate at our Littleton, CO location. You will read orders, assemble items from stock, and prepare pallets for shipping, while maintaining accurate inventory records.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading vehicles, managing freight, labeling, and using basic computer systems to track records. This role requires lifting up to 100 lbs and weekend availability.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required or equivalent.
• Must be able to read and write in English.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Forklift certification preferred or willing to become certified.
• Excellent organizational and safety awareness skills.
• Ability to move/lift 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs.
• Willingness to work Saturdays on a 5-day schedule.

Responsibilities

• Assemble customer orders from stock and place on pallet or shelves.
• Sort items by size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Maintain accuracy of store inventory and complete related paperwork.
• Label orders and back stock clearly; participate in cycle counting.
• Load/unload customer vehicles and verify paperwork.
• Process incoming freight and operate equipment safely.
• Record product receipts and distributions; keep area clean and organized.
• Enter records into the computer and support other duties as assigned.

Job Description

• Read customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to assemble customer orders from stock and place order on pallet or shelves.
• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Complete all paperwork pertaining to inventory, which includes shipping confirmations, receiving confirmations, purchase orders, open orders, order check-off, and UPS.
• Ensure complete accuracy of store inventory at all times.
• Label all orders and back stock clearly.
• Participate in the cycle counting program.
• Load and unload customer vehicles; ensure proper paperwork is completed and signed off by the customer after loading of product.
• Process incoming freight trucks in a timely manner.
• Proper use of equipment, including but not limited to forklifts, to move inventory.
• Inspect equipment to maintain good working order.
• Record amounts of product received and distributed.
• Accountable for overall cleanliness/organization of the warehouse.
• Enter records into computer.
• Other duties as assigned.
