Job summary

Nexeo Plastics is seeking a Warehouse Worker in the Grove City/Columbus area to manage receiving, storage and shipping of inventory using the SAP system. Responsibilities include loading/unloading, labeling, and assisting with packaging from railcars or trucks.

The role requires attention to safety, accuracy and teamwork in a fast-paced logistics environment. The position supports a diverse customer base across regions and adheres to Nexeo Plastics' quality policy.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• 0-2 years' warehouse experience preferred.
• Inventory, equipment maintenance, data entry and computer skills may be required.
• Must read/write/speak/understand English.
• Must comply with trucking/warehousing laws.
• Must perform basic math for quantities and blending.
• Must be a team player and able to work multiple shifts.
• Must identify warehouse layout and assess clearance between objects.
• Must see warning signals.
• Must stand/walk throughout the day and handle up to 55 pounds.
• All applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-use inspections of equipment and report findings.
• Provide outstanding service during delivery and pickup operations.
• Verify deliveries against bill of lading.
• Check shipment weights and ensure legal road limits.
• Move drums and totes; stage material for loading.
• Review transport paperwork for authorization and compliance.
• Operate forklift to pick/store material from rail cars or trucks.
• Assist with warehouse organization and special tasks as needed.
• Participate in training meetings and follow Nexeo Plastics policies.
