Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in Atlanta is seeking a 3rd Shift Warehouse Operator to create, coordinate and complete shipments for company and clients. You will coordinate with off-site locations, process orders, and ensure on-time delivery while meeting safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include forklift operations, loading/unloading, inventory checks and maintaining a clean, organized warehouse.

Qualifications

Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
Detail oriented, organized and able to effectively manage multiple priorities.
Effective interpersonal skills and ability to communicate orally and in writing.
High level of customer service skills.

Responsibilities

Performs daily activities for an assigned shift or within an assigned area or function.
Adheres to warehouse work instructions for receiving, labeling, storing, shipping and value add services.
Meets company objectives in performance, safety, quality, leadership, and customer service.
Works with supervisor and teams to improve service to the client.
Unloads inbound shipments, stages, stacks, and loads merchandise.
Moves products to load doors and ensures trailer is secured before transit.
Loads/unloads with proper handling techniques and verifies carrier documents.
Performs forklift activities and maintains a clean work environment.
Maintains organized desk/office area.
Performs other duties as assigned.
