About the Role: Gilbert is a design, build and fabrication company specializing in trade shows, live events and architectural interiors. Our work is custom, fast-moving and deadline-driven. Projects can involve large custom-built pieces, client-owned assets, multiple facilities, freight carriers, drivers, installation crews and constantly changing schedules.
Position Overview: This is a leadership role, but it is not a desk job. You will lead the team, manage the operation and be directly involved in the details that keep projects moving—from coordinating freight and crews to confirming a driver is on the road and a critical shipment is actually going to arrive when promised. At the same time, we are looking for someone who can elevate the operation. You should naturally look for ways to improve systems, create better visibility, eliminate unnecessary administrative work and build processes that allow the team to operate proactively instead of constantly reacting.
