Job summary

Global Connect Technologies is seeking a Logistics Engineer – Warehouse to optimize warehouse operations, material flow, inventory, labor utilization, and layouts. The role supports Lean initiatives, capacity planning, and cross-functional collaboration.

The ideal candidate will work on improving receiving, put-away, picking, replenishment, kitting, and shipping, while developing KPIs and performing time studies to drive operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain, or Logistics.
• Experience in warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, or material handling.
• Knowledge of Lean, process improvement, and data analysis.
• Experience with WMS/ERP, SAP/EWM, Power BI, AutoCAD, or Visio preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Optimize warehouse layouts, storage, staging, and material flow.
• Analyze inventory, labor, capacity, and warehouse processes.
• Improve receiving, put-away, picking, replenishment, kitting, and shipping.
• Develop KPIs, conduct time studies, and perform data analysis.
• Apply Lean, 5S, Kaizen, VSM, Standard Work, and Root Cause Analysis.
• Support WMS/ERP and SAP/EWM processes.
• Evaluate material handling equipment and warehouse automation opportunities.
• Partner with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Warehouse Operations.
