Job summary

Farmer Brothers in Minneapolis seeks a warehouse associate to manage receiving, picking, shipping, sanitation, and cycle counts while maintaining strict inventory controls. You will operate forklifts, use the WMS, and ensure data accuracy across transactions.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, a valid DOT physical, and a clean driving record. You will support route relief and collaborate with the warehouse supervisor to uphold safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1 year in factory/warehouse/inventory preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs; must pass a DOT physical; valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Familiarity with WMS and computer terminals.

Responsibilities

• Handle receiving, order picking, shipping, and sanitation tasks while following policies.
• Use forklifts and other MHE to load/unload and optimize space.
• Ensure inventory accuracy through verification steps and documentation.
• Resolve overage/shortage issues and investigate discrepancies.
• Audit system transactions and maintain JDE accuracy.
• Conduct complete inventories and weekly cycle counts.
• Follow safety rules and maintain a clean, secure facility.
• Partner with warehouse supervisor to protect inventory and cleanliness.
• Provide occasional route relief by driving sprinter vans or trucks.
• Take on additional tasks supporting branch operations.
