Job summary

NEFCO, a family-operated construction supply distributor with 80+ locations nationwide, is hiring full-time Warehouse Associates for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts in East Hartford, CT. You'll support shipping, receiving, inventory control, replenishment, and other warehouse functions based on business needs and your experience.

As a team member, you will operate RF scanners and warehouse management systems, lift up to 50 pounds, and help keep a safe, organized workplace.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous warehouse, distribution, shipping, receiving, or inventory experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and positive attitude.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and stock incoming inventory.
• Pick, pack, stage, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
• Verify products, quantities, and documentation for accuracy.
• Perform cycle counts and support inventory accuracy initiatives.
• Research and help resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Operate RF scanners and warehouse management systems.
• Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, cherry pickers, and other material-handling equipment following training and certification.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow company policies and warehouse safety procedures.

Schedule

• Full-time positions
• Typically Monday through Friday
• Overtime may be available or required
• Shift differentials may apply for eligible 2nd and 3rd shift positions
