Job summary

Staffmark is seeking a Warehouse Logistics Associate in Torrance, CA to support picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and inventory handling. You will help ensure orders are completed safely and accurately while moving products through the warehouse.

The role requires physical stamina, ability to operate a sit-down forklift, and adherence to safety procedures. You’ll work on first, second, or third shifts with a Monday–Friday schedule and competitive weekly pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous warehouse, logistics, or distribution training is beneficial.
• Previous warehouse, logistics, shipping/receiving, cargo handling, or import/export experience preferred.
• Experience operating a sit-down forklift is required.
• Knowledge of pallets, skids, freight processing, and material handling procedures preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and break down incoming shipments, pallets, skids, containers, and freight.
• Sort, stage, and organize materials for storage, distribution, and production support.
• Load, unload, and transport materials using warehouse equipment.
• Verify shipping and receiving paperwork and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Inspect materials for damage and report discrepancies as needed.
• Follow warehouse, logistics, safety, and quality procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour
Schedules Available

• 1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
• 2nd Shift: Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
• 3rd Shift: Monday-Friday, 4:00 PM – 12:30 AM

• Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory procedures, shipping software, or RF scanning equipment is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate reliability, adaptability, teamwork, and attention to detail are well positioned for success as a Warehouse Logistics Associate.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive warehouse tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull materials and packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely work around warehouse equipment, conveyors, and moving inventory.
• Ability to maintain productivity while working in warehouse and distribution environments.
