Cook Solutions Group in Portland, OR is hiring a Warehouse Assistant to support shipping/receiving, inventory control, and order fulfillment. You will handle purchase orders, coordinate receipts with carriers, stage equipment, and assist with inventories.

This role requires a HS diploma or GED, 1–2 years in warehousing, and forklift experience. The position offers competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits within a casual, team‑oriented culture.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED equivalent.
• 1-2 years of warehouse experience.
• Forklift experience.
• Comfortable with MS Office Suite and learning new software programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist in a variety of general warehouse duties and maintain a neat, orderly warehouse.
• Process purchase orders and coordinate receipt with UPS, FedEx, and freight vendors.
• Perform system receipt, transfers, and communication of receipts with internal teams and vendors.
• Stage equipment for upcoming installations and handle daily shipping/receiving duties.
• Support RMA processes with Purchasing Team for timely closures.
• Oversee inventory cage and assist with inventory counts.
• Pickup parts from vendors and coordinate disposal of recyclable scrap materials.
• Operate forklift and other material handling equipment safely.
• Maintain clean, organized warehouse and lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
