Air Controls - Billings, Inc, Montana’s premier HVAC, Plumbing, and Refrigeration Service provider is seeking a Warehouse Logistics Associate to join our team!

We’re looking for someone who is highly motivated, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced, hands‑on environment. This role is essential to the success of our operations, supporting all divisions of the company through effective materials handling, equipment readiness, inventory accuracy, and overall warehouse efficiency.

As a Warehouse Logistics Associate, you’ll be at the heart of our logistics operation—ensuring that the right parts, tools, and equipment are in the right place at the right time to keep projects moving smoothly.

Essential Functions
  • Adapt to daily operational needs, including changing priorities, urgent requests, and special projects.
  • Inspect and verify all incoming items against purchase orders or invoices; document shortages and report any damaged goods.
  • Answer incoming calls and coordinate with team members to fulfill internal and external requests.
  • Collaborate with team members to coordinate the shipment and receipt of goods, equipment, and materials.
  • Track and update the status of inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely delivery.
  • Prepare and load shipments for delivery, pickup, or transport, ensuring accuracy and safety.
  • Assemble crates and containers, pack goods securely, and complete all required shipping documentation.
  • Accurately record and track the location and movement of inventory and equipment.
  • Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other warehouse equipment.
  • Operate vehicles and machinery, including those with automatic and manual transmissions, trailers of various sizes, forklifts, and scissor lifts.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly environment in the warehouse, shop, and surrounding property—including sweeping, mopping, trash removal, recycling, mowing, and snow removal.
  • Work with a focus on quality and efficiency, emphasizing speed, accuracy, and organization.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying and suggesting ways to improve workflow, safety, and efficiency.
  • Deliver excellent customer service with a positive, professional attitude.
  • Demonstrate a proactive, can‑do mindset and a strong commitment to completing work correctly, efficiently, and on time.
  • Follow all company policies and safety procedures to maintain a hazard‑free work environment.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED (required).
  • Clean DMV and Criminal Background.
  • High integrity, strong work ethic, and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong time management skills; able to meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Prior material‑handling or warehouse experience (preferred).
  • Experience with forklifts, scissor lifts, manual transmissions, trailer pulling, and other equipment (preferred).
  • Experience in HVAC and Refrigeration products (strongly desired).
Physical demands and abilities
  • Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-70 lbs.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 lbs.
  • Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
  • Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance.
