Are you a motivated and detail-oriented individual looking for a fast-paced warehouse environment?We'reseeking a skilled Warehouse Associate to join our team at Baker DistributingCompany, a leading wholesale HVAC distributorship. As a Warehouse Associate,you'llplay a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse, includingpickingand verifying orders, conducting quality inspections, andmaintainingaccurateinventory levels.

Summary

The Warehouse Associateis responsible forthe inventory of the Warehouse and the daily transfer of HVAC freight and materials in a fast-paced environment. Theultimate goalof this role is toprocure, pick, process, and dispatch products to customers and vendors for one of our established wholesale HVAC distributorships thatcarriesmultiple brands of equipment,partsand supplies.

Essential Duties/Accountabilities
  • Pick and verify orders for customers.
  • Conduct Quality Inspections to verify/ensure the products being received,pickedand shipped areaccurate.
  • Daily loading and unloading of products in truck for delivery to customers and/or other Sales Centers.
  • Receive, inspect, and stock all merchandise.
  • Prepare orders for shipment as needed.
  • Responsible for daily checklist of truck and forklift maintenance.
  • Assistmanagement with inventory counts and provide daily upkeep of the Warehouse.
  • Adhere to all warehouse safety protocols and procedures.
  • Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) asrequired.
  • Report any safety hazards or incidentsimmediatelyto management.
  • Participate in regular safety training sessions and drills.
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of all products to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Follow all guidelines for the safe operation of forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

NOTE:Baker has set ProductionStandards theemployee willbe requiredto meet on a weekly basis.The employee will receiveadditionalinformation about Production Standards requirements during the interview process and afterhire.

  • Demonstrated experience with HVAC equipment in a wholesale distribution setting.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment; reasonableaccommodationswill be provided as needed.

  • Mechanical or technical experience preferred.
  • Proficiencyin Microsoft Office or similar productivity tools; assistive technologies may be used to support this function.
  • A valid driver’s license isrequiredonly if driving is an essential function of the role.
