Job summary

Randstad USA in Vernon, CA is seeking a physically capable Loader/Unloader for a night shift. You will perform high-volume manual loading and unloading of freight from trucks and containers, with a focus on speed, stamina and accuracy.

You will operate pallet jacks and hand trucks to move materials, verify quantities, check for damages and follow lifting safety rules while coordinating with dock teams to hit daily throughput goals.

Your responsibilities:

• Perform continuous, high-volume manual loading and unloading of freight, goods, and containerized cargo from various vehicles with efficiency and precision.
• Operate essential manual and powered material handling equipment, specifically pallet jacks and hand trucks, to quickly move and stage materials within the dock area.
• Maintain meticulous attention to detail by verifying shipment quantities, identifying damages, and ensuring all material stacking adheres to strict safety and integrity standards.
• Actively comply with all safety regulations, prioritizing the use of correct lifting techniques throughout the entire shift to maintain personal health and team security.
• Collaborate effectively with dock supervisors and receiving teams to achieve daily throughput targets and maintain smooth operational flow.

work hours: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
