Job summary

UniFirst is seeking a reliable Warehouse Unloader/Loader to join our branch team in Clarksburg, WV. You will support the timely flow of clean and soiled garments and products, unload shipments, sort items by route, and prepare goods for dispatch on a 2nd shift. On-the-job training is provided, with a 5-day work week and weekend days off.

Qualifications

• High school education or GED equivalent required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
• Valid Driver's License is required.
• Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly with management.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical operations using American standard units in weight measurement, volume, and distance.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Unload clean product from plant transport shuttle upon arrival.
• Sort and stage clean garments and facility service items by route and delivery day.
• Piece in garments or stockroom items to ensure they are included with the appropriate route.
• Audit flag good carts and verify accuracy against load sheets.
• Identify, document, and communicate route shortages to the Branch Manager, Service Teams, and Production Management.
• Load route trucks with garments and facility service items.
• Unload and sort mixed soiled garments and products by material type and classification from returning route trucks.
• Load soiled products onto the outbound shuttle for return to the processing plant.
• Organize and load reductions, special handling items, and clean return products onto the outbound shuttle for return to the processing plant.
• Receive, label, and store incoming vendor deliveries.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment and adhere to safety procedures.
• Perform other duties as described by area supervisor or management.
