Job summary

GPC Genuine Parts Company is seeking a Warehouse Loader in South Dakota to stage, shrink wrap, and load products by trip and store numbers. You will help with pallet building, route-specific selections, and ensure safe handling of merchandise up to 60 lbs with potential for 300 lb pushes/pulls using mechanical aids.

Responsibilities include staging, securing loads, and directing shipments while maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Forklift certified preferred.
• Regular, reliable attendance required.
• Ability to read and understand parts and route information.
• Capable of lifting up to 60 lbs and pushing/pulling up to 300 lbs with aids.

Responsibilities

• Stage products on pallets and shrink wrap to secure loads.
• Load pallets onto trucks and ensure correct parts go to the right orders.
• Operate pallet jack or forklift as needed.
• Inspect trailers and organize loading from skids to trucks.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and follow safety procedures.
