Job summary

GPC Genuine Parts Company in the United States is seeking a warehouse associate responsible for staging products on pallets, shrink wrapping, and loading pallets for shipment. You will ensure accuracy in part selection for delivery and uphold safe handling practices.

You will operate a pallet jack or forklift, inspect trailers, and contribute to efficient pallet loads for distribution while maintaining a clean, safe work environment throughout the shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Regular, reliable attendance.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and push/pull up to 300 lbs with equipment.
• Stand/walk for the entire shift.

Responsibilities

• Stages and shrink wraps pallets and loads onto trucks.
• Inspects trailers for suitability before loading.
• Packs correct parts for delivery with speed and accuracy.
• Operates pallet jack or forklift as needed.
• Maintains product integrity during handling and storage.
• Keeps work area clean to prevent accidents and aid rapid loading.
• Assists with processing other distribution center shuttles.
• Follows safety procedures and performs other duties as assigned.
