Job summary

Sysco is seeking a warehouse associate to load pre-assembled merchandise and pallets for shipment and transport on delivery vehicles under general supervision. The role requires reading, writing, and understanding English, plus basic arithmetic and strong physical stamina.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading shipments, loading trucks per instructions, maintaining load stability, and wrapping pallets to ensure safe delivery.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age
• Ability to work on Sundays
• Ability to work nights

Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads shipments; lift up to 100 pounds
• Loads trucks per truck mapping and instructions
• Ensures load stability and driver safety during handling
• Wraps pallets by machine or hand to ensure stability
• Unloads and cleans trucks as necessary
• Operates stock trucks and mechanical jacks safely
• Prepares products for shipment; weighs, handles and transports as necessary
• Hand loads product onto trucks as required
• Complies with safety regulations and standards
