Job summary

United States Cold Storage is seeking a Loader for our McClellan, CA location. The role handles loading/unloading, verification of shipments, and inventory checks using RF scanners and forklifts. Typical schedule is Mon–Fri, 1:00pm–9:30pm with potential overtime; training in the mornings.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in a warehouse environment and at least 6 months operating powered industrial equipment; a High School Diploma or GED is preferred. Safety and accuracy are emphasized daily.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years’ experience in a Warehouse environment.
• 6 months minimum experience with forklifts and powered industrial equipment.
• Good arithmetic, reading, and data entry skills.

Responsibilities

• Unload and load trailers and verify proper stacking and product being shipped.
• Count product prior to storage and verify against driver’s manifest.
• Inspect for damage, infestation, and production code dates; report shortages/damages.
• Assist in physical inventories with scanners.
• Operate forklift, clamp truck, slip-sheet, or other equipment to move stock.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and check equipment prior to use.
