Job summary

United States Cold Storage, Inc. is seeking a Loader to prepare product for movement, load and unload trailers, verify against manifests, and ensure proper pallet stability using pallet jacks, RF equipment and forklifts.

This full-time role offers a $23–$24 per hour wage, Mon–Fri 1:00pm–9:30pm with overtime as needed, plus safety-focused training and opportunities for growth through benefits after a probation period.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–2 years’ experience in a warehouse environment.
• 6 months minimum experience with forklifts and related powered industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

• Unload and load trailers; verify proper stacking and product being shipped.
• Count product prior to storage; compare to manifest; check for damage, infestation, and production codes.
• Report shortages, damages, and misplacements to supervisor; verify receipt at correct temperature.
• Assist in physical inventories with scanners.
• Move product from staging areas into railcars or trailers.
• Operate equipment to load, unload, move, stack, and stage product using forklift, clamp truck, or other powered equipment.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and verify equipment operates properly.
