Job summary

Performance Food Group in Houma, LA seeks a Loader Formula to move freight safely and efficiently. You will operate forklift or pallet jack, stack pallets, and prepare shipments according to plan.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• 6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience.
• Must be able to work scheduled times and overtime.
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly, lifting 10–35 pounds and up to 60–90 pounds.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Transport items to the trailer using forklift or pallet jack in the loading plan.
• Place loads in trailer slots and secure them when complete.
• Remove and manage pallets, inspect for damage, and store properly.
• Perform housekeeping and keep dock and work area clean.
• Follow safety policies and report unsafe conditions immediately.
• Ensure PPE is worn and equipment is safe before operations.
• Complete end-of-shift paperwork and secure all equipment.
