Job summary

West Marine in Rock Hill, SC is seeking an Equipment Operator to move merchandise with Crown equipment, load/unload trailers, and support high-volume order fulfillment in a fast-paced distribution center.

This full-time role requires safety focus, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, operate forklifts, and use RF scanners; flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays, in a drug-free, equal-opportunity workplace.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with pallet riders and stock pickers.
• Operate a forklift or other equipment to transport product within the operation.
• Comfortable with operating equipment at heights.
• Understanding of RF Scanners and Voice to Pick concepts.

Responsibilities

• Move product, pull merchandise, fill daily orders, and control flow while operating moving equipment safely.
• Stock products to appropriate areas in an accurate and timely manner.
• Operate moving equipment in a safe and correct manner.
• Utilize handheld RF scanner in a safe manner.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment, complying with safety rules.
• Adhere to legal requirements and company policies.
• Be available for a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
