Job summary

Mitchell Companies, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Operator responsible for scanning, picking, packing, and wrapping products for outbound shipments. The role includes placing returned items back into stock and maintaining a clean warehouse environment.

The ideal candidate will pull orders, handle products safely, and communicate with drivers to coordinate loading and unloading. Prior warehouse experience and the ability to stand for long periods are preferred, with forklift certification

Qualifications

• Must pay close attention to details and follow directions accurately.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items.
• Forklift certification is a plus and may be required.
• Previous warehouse or distribution experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pull orders as directed by the pick system.
• Scan, pick, pack and wrap product to pallets or delivery carts.
• Ensure products are stacked safely to prevent damage.
• Verify product accuracy via quality controls.
• Stage pallets/carts in designated loading areas.
• Maintain a clean, organized warehouse workspace.
• Communicate with warehouse staff and truck drivers for loading/unloading.
• Follow all safety procedures to prevent injuries.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities

• Pull orders as directed by pick system.
• Scan, pick, pack and wrap product to a pallet or delivery cart.
• Ensure that all products are handled and stacked safely and securely to prevent damage.
• Ensure accuracy of product through systematic quality controls.
• Stage pallet or cart in designated area for loading process.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Communicate with warehouse staff and truck drivers to coordinate loading and unloading processes.
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Ability to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods of time.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Forklift certification a plus.
