The Warehouse Worker is responsible for assisting with the daily operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and quality standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
- Store materials and products in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and package orders accurately for shipment.
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate inventory and assist with cycle counts.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
- Label, sort, and organize products and materials.
- Follow company safety procedures and warehouse policies.
- Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment.
- Report damaged products, equipment issues, or shortages to management.
- Complete assigned warehouse tasks within established deadlines.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic math and counting skills.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the workday.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Ability to work in varying temperatures depending on warehouse conditions.
- Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment after training.
