The Larko Group is seeking a dependable Warehouse Associate in Elmwood Park, IL to help keep our operations running smoothly. You will accurately fulfill orders, maintain an organized workspace, and ensure timely delivery to customers.

Ideal candidates are physically able to lift up to 50 pounds, comfortable with repetitive tasks, and able to work well in a team. Prior warehouse experience and familiarity with RF scanners or WMS are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately pick, pack, and stage customer orders using pick tickets, RF scanners, and WMS to ensure timely shipments.
  • Perform lifting and movement up to 50 pounds while maintaining productivity and safety.
  • Operate pallet riders, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to move inventory.
  • Inspect products for accuracy and quality before shipping; report discrepancies as needed.
  • Assist with rework, labeling, repackaging, kitting, and light product assembly.
  • Support inventory accuracy with cycle counts and stock replenishment.
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Collaborate with team to meet daily productivity and quality goals.

Job description

We're looking for a dependable, hardworking team member who enjoys staying active and takes pride in doing quality work. In this role, you'll play an important part in keeping our warehouse operations running efficiently by accurately fulfilling orders, maintaining an organized work environment, and helping ensure our customers receive their products on time. Responsibilities

  • Accurately pick, pack, and stage customer orders using pick tickets, RF scanners, and warehouse management systems to ensure timely and error-free shipments.
  • Perform frequent and repetitive lifting, carrying, and movement of products weighing up to 50 pounds while maintaining productivity and following safe lifting practices.
  • Safely operate pallet riders, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to transport inventory throughout the warehouse.
  • Inspect products for accuracy, quality, and any signs of damage before shipping, reporting discrepancies as needed.
  • Assist with rework projects, including repackaging, labeling, kitting, and light product assembly to support customer and operational requirements.
  • Support inventory accuracy by assisting with cycle counts, stock replenishment, and organizing inventory within designated warehouse locations.
  • Follow all company safety policies, quality standards, and operational procedures to help maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily productivity, quality, and accuracy goals while supporting overall warehouse operations.
  • Take on additional warehouse duties and special projects as assigned to support changing business needs.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse by keeping work areas orderly and assisting with general housekeeping, including cleaning warehouse spaces and facility exteriors as needed.

Ideal Experience

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout an entire shift while maintaining productivity in a physically active warehouse environment.
  • Comfortable performing repetitive tasks with accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
  • Ability to consistently lift and move up to 50 pounds without assistance while following all safety guidelines.
  • Previous warehouse, distribution, or order-picking experience is preferred, with an understanding of inventory and fulfillment processes.
  • Experience operating a pallet rider or electric pallet jack is preferred, or a willingness to learn through on-the-job training.
  • Familiarity with RF scanners, warehouse management systems (WMS), or other inventory tracking technology is a plus.
  • Dependable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a safe, organized, and productive work environment.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate order selection and timely completion of assigned tasks.
