Job summary

United Natural Foods, Inc. in Ridgefield, WA is hiring a Lift Operator to move product within our warehouse. The role requires operating a reach lift, following safety procedures, and ensuring accurate inventory.

You will report to the shipping office at start of shift, inspect equipment, replenish slots, and maintain logs. Candidates should have lift experience, the ability to lift 100 pounds, and pass background checks.

Qualifications

• Prior lift experience required.
• Experience in shipping/receiving preferred.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse procedures.
• Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide, units).
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds continuously.
• Ability to work in temperatures from -10 to 90+ °F.
• Pass a criminal background check and drug/physical exam.
• Experience in large warehouse/distribution preferred.
• Good judgement for limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Report to the shipping office at start of each shift.
• Inspect lift and complete vehicle inspection sheet.
• Replenish pick slots using the view request screen and fill empty slots.
• Perform knockdowns for selectors.
• Maintain counts and log inventory discrepancies.
• Verify correct product in pick locations.
• Remove shrink wrap from knockdowns.
• Remove empty pallets and stage in pallet area.
• Operate the lift safely and efficiently.
• Follow HACCP and SQF policies where applicable.
