East Penn Mfg. is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Lead for our Albuquerque, New Mexico warehouse. The role focuses on day-to-day operations, shipping/receiving, inventory control, and material handling in a fast-paced environment.

Starting hourly wage ranges from $23.50 to $28.08 per hour, depending on qualifications. A $2,500 sign-on/retention bonus is offered for CDL Drivers, with pay scales determined by role, location, and experience. East Penn provides a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Highly motivated with good communication and computer skills.
• Experience in Shipping/Receiving and inventory is preferred but not required.
• Supervisory experience is beneficial as the role supports the Warehouse Manager.

Responsibilities

• Warehouse Lead will assist the Warehouse Manager in day to day operations with responsibilities including shipping/receiving, inventory, and material handling duties.
• Pulling orders, loading/unloading trucks, and loading batteries for customers; may perform non-CDL deliveries.
• Lead with CDL-A will act as a Backup Driver, operating a diesel or gasoline straight van (up to 80,000 GVW).
• Must be highly motivated with good communication skills.
• Overtime may be required.
• Forklift experience required on stand up and sit down forklifts.

Responsibilities

Warehouse Lead will assist the Warehouse Manager in day to day operations with responsibilities including shipping/receiving, inventory, and material handling duties.

• Our Material Handlers are responsible for pulling (physical lifting) orders, loading and unloading of trucks, load batteries for customers and may make occasional non-CDL deliveries.
• Delivers and picks up freight from specified customer locations, such as warehouses, retail stores, dealerships, and small businesses.
• Leader with CDL-A will act as a Backup Driver, driving a diesel or gasoline powered straight van with a gross vehicle weight rating of up to 80,000 GVW.
• Must be highly motivated and have good communication skills.
• Candidate may be requested to work overtime.
• Forklift experience required on both stand up and sit down forklifts.

Qualifications

Candidates must be highly motivated with good communication and computer skills, and be able to work with others. Shipping/Receiving, inventory, and experience driving box trucks are all preferred but not required, as training will be provided. Supervisory experience is also preferred, as this position will assist the Warehouse Manager in day to day operations.

Class "A" Commercial Driver's License with Endorsements for Air Brakes and Hazmat preferred but not required.
