Ryder is seeking a 2nd Shift Lead Trainer in Minooka, Illinois to drive training initiatives and support a fast-paced warehouse environment. You will lead daily operations, mentor team members, and coordinate with supervision to maintain safety and quality.

This role emphasizes hands-on leadership and continuous improvement across shifts. The position requires prior warehouse experience, leadership ability, and strong communication skills.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year or more powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• One year or more previous experience as Team Lead preferred.
• One year or more Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) preferred.
• One year or more previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Knowledge and/or experience with an RF scanner advanced required.
• Valid forklift operator's license certified.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and ensure continuous improvement efforts for optimal efficiency of the operations.
• Perform warehouse function, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Allocate resources and organize and distribute daily work duties to members to ensure optimal shift/team operational logistics.
• Inspire and guide team members towards improved KPI’s using appropriate leadership styles and methods.
• Assist in providing appropriate orientation for employees and give them the necessary information, technology and tools to perform their jobs.
• Assist with promoting health and safety working methods within the warehouse.
• Deal with day to day paperwork in a warehouse environment (i.e. picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.).
• Complete and submit daily reports and propose action plans to enhance operations effectiveness and service levels.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Position Description

Ryder is hiring a 2nd Shift Lead Trainer in Minooka, Illinois — offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a career you can feel good about.

Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly

• Hourly Pay: $21.50 per hour base
• Additional Pay: $1.00 per hour for Lead plus $0.50 per hour for shift
• Schedule: Monday - Friday 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM plus mandated OT as required

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One (1) year or more powered industrial truck experience preferred
• One (1) year or more previous experience as Team Lead preferred
