Job summary

Ryder Warehouse is hiring in Minooka, Illinois for Warehouse Material Handlers. Earn $21.50 per hour, plus $0.50 extra on 2nd shift; schedule Mon-Fri 2:30pm-11:00pm with some Saturdays; busy season may include 4:00pm-4:00am. Weekly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Work in clean facilities with forklift operation, training provided, and opportunities across the US. A high school diploma, forklift license, and ability to lift 35 lbs are required for many roles.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One year or more related warehouse experience preferred
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse function including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
• Operate within contract performance measurement guidelines
• Accurately pick/pack, audit, tote induction, staging, and load/unload trucks
• Handle day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment
• Provide technical/maintenance support for automated packing systems during production hours
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Hourly Pay $21.50 per hour

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse function, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and, cycle counting
• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Responsible for the accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products and loading and unloading of trucks
• Responsible of dealing with day to day paperwork in a warehouse environment (i.e. picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.)
• Provide technical and maintenance support for different aspects related to the automated packing system during the core shift hour of production
• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Performs other duties as assigned.
