Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Lead, Warehouse to oversee daily operations in our Manassas distribution center. You’ll supervise the warehouse team, ensure accurate inventory, and drive on-time order completion while coaching staff and enforcing safety and policies.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in a warehouse role, SAP experience, and familiarity with WMS and handheld scanners. Flexibility for overtime and a fast-paced environment is required.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in a warehouse environment.
• 1 year of SAP experience.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and handheld scanners.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operational processes to ensure correct inventory levels and that orders are completed accurately and on time.
• Review workload and assign tasks to employees.
• Train and coach the warehouse team and provide positive developmental opportunities; recommend performance improvement actions as needed.
• Utilize the warehouse management system and maintain appropriate work documents.
• Establish, maintain and promote exceptional customer service.
• Enforce company policies and safety procedures to ensure compliance.
• Safely operate various equipment and tools.
• Provide support and backup to warehouse management.
• Track orders and investigate problems; catalog and track goods and/or supplies.
• Adhere to the 7S program by maintaining a clean environment.
• Work in a safe manner that protects you and your team members.
