Job summary

Green Electronic Solutions is seeking a General Warehouse Worker Lead to drive efficient sorting operations and mentor the Sort Team. You will oversee daily tasks, ensure accuracy, and help maintain a safe, organized workplace.

You’ll train new staff, monitor performance, enforce PPE and safety policies, and collaborate with other departments to meet production goals while keeping materials flowing smoothly.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of warehouse experience; leadership or supervisory experience is a big plus.
• Strong leadership and the ability to motivate a team.
• Clear and effective communication skills.
• Excellent organizational abilities and problem-solving mindset.
• Basic computer skills to complete simple reports and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily Sort Team activities, assign tasks and ensure work is completed accurately and on time.
• Train new team members on sorting procedures, safety policies, and company expectations.
• Monitor employee performance, provide feedback, and foster a positive, productive work environment.
• Perform quality checks to ensure materials are sorted according to company standards while minimizing errors.
• Enforce warehouse safety procedures and PPE requirements, keeping the work environment hazard-free.
• Collaborate with team to meet production goals, address equipment or inventory concerns, and maintain efficient workflows.
• Assist with unloading, moving, and organizing materials while keeping the sorting area clean and organized.
• Take on additional duties as assigned and work closely with other departments to achieve company goals.
