Job summary

Bunzl Distribution in Stockton, CA is seeking a Warehouse Lead to oversee Shipping Department activities, ensure accurate order selection, and maintain a safe working environment. The role requires 1-3 years warehousing, supervisory experience preferred, ability to lift 60-75 lbs, and proficiency with AS400, Word and Excel.

Starting pay is $21-$24 per hour, commensurate with experience, with Bunzl's full benefits package.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years' experience in warehousing
• Must be able to lift heavy objects (60-75 lbs) with or without accommodations
• Must be able to work regularly at a height of up to 26 feet above ground
• Self-starter with ability to multitask
• Excellent judgment and decision-making skills
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient using AS400 and PC skills in Word and Excel

Responsibilities

• Assist team members in timely and accurate assembly of customer orders for shipment
• Provide a professional environment with relation to team members, other departments and external customers
• Direct daily activities to ensure a safe working environment
• Organize and focus on improved productivity by improving processes and staff efficiency
• Ensure company policies are communicated, applied and enforced
• Assist Warehouse Manager in evaluating performance variances to identify root causes and corrective actions
