Job summary

Bob's Discount Furniture is seeking a DC Shipping Operations Associate to perform real-time analysis and balance the Shipping operations. You will assign picking/loading tasks for production staff and record outbound truck/trailer numbers to ensure accurate deliveries.

We require a High School diploma, 5+ years in warehouse management, strong communication and organizational skills, and proficiency with Word, Excel, SAP and Red Prairie. Flexibility to work weekends and evenings is essential.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of warehouse management experience.
• Strong verbal/written communication and organizational skills.
• Skilled at multi-tasking and managing competing priorities.
• Working knowledge of Word, Excel, SAP and Red Prairie.
• Detail oriented and accurate.
• Ability to quickly recognize and diagnose trends in productivity data.
• Flexible hours including weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Real time analysis and balance of DC Shipping operations.
• Assists in balancing manpower for all areas.
• Assigns picking/loading tasks for production employees.
• Supports Shipping Supervisor for smooth task flow.
• Records/reports truck/trailer numbers for outbound deliveries.
• Supports EOD tasks and end-of-day processes.
• Maintains knowledge of needed systems and documents tasks.
• Provides admin support to Shipping Supervisor.
