Job summary

OnTrac is hiring a Warehouse Package Handler Lead for the Charlotte HUB. The role oversees package handling, training, and safety, collaborating with Area and Operations Managers to improve metrics and uphold company values.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, 1 year of industry experience, and leadership experience. Shift is 3:00 PM–2:00 AM Wed–Sat; pay is $19.95/hour plus a $1.00/hour weekend differential. Fort Mill, SC location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year of industry experience.
• 1 year of leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee offloading, loading, and sorting of packages to support distribution.
• Train and guide Package Handlers, providing hands-on demonstrations and ongoing feedback.
• Enforce safety protocols and operate dock, conveyor, and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Check in/out third-party drivers, verify credentials, and ensure proper documentation and manifest accuracy.
• Monitor equipment functionality and submit maintenance requests; manage damaged freight according to procedures.
