Job summary

AIT Worldwide Logistics is seeking a Warehouse Lead to coordinate and monitor warehouse activities, lead staff, and ensure safety and quality standards. You will oversee daily shipment readiness, supervise dock operations, and drive process improvements for inventory accuracy and efficiency.

The role requires 5+ years in warehouse leadership and proficiency with MS Outlook, Excel, and 3PL systems, with forklift certification.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or equivalent Required
• 5+ years Previous team lead or supervisor experience
• 5+ years Warehouse operations experience
• 3+ years Experience with MS Outlook and Excel
• 5+ years Experience with 3PL systems
• Forklift Certification Required
• Inventory and/or cycle count management
• Strong communication and computer skills

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned warehouse area pertaining to quality, workmanship, productivity, recovery, sanitation and employee practices
• Meet daily shipment requirements to guarantee service levels and timely arrival of goods
• Monitor and expedite workflow of the dock area and escalate issues to management
• Train warehouse personnel on processes and safety procedures
• Oversee inventory control including data entry, cycle counts and client reporting updates
• Operate forklift to move materials around the warehouse
• Ensure adherence to safety policies and warehouse protocols
• Communicate problems or concerns with attendance, performance, and operations to management
• Coach staff to improve procedures and performance
• Ensure overall warehouse compliance and performance
