Weingartz, a family-owned North American leader in outdoor power equipment, is seeking a Warehouse Lead to direct daily operations in our Ann Arbor area facility. You will oversee shipping/receiving, inventory control, and workflow coordination while ensuring accuracy and safety.

Open 40-hour week with rotating weekend hours; 20–24 USD per hour depending on experience. The role offers benefits and opportunities for growth in a supportive, employee-focused company.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of warehouse, shipping/receiving, inventory control, or logistics experience.
• Ability to oversee staff, direct workflow, and hold team accountable.
• Experience with inventory management, cycle counts, shipping/receiving, and order fulfillment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds safely.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Previous warehouse leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience with WMS, inventory software, and Microsoft Office preferred.
• Forklift certification or ability to become certified preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and workflow coordination.
• Assist with inbound freight, outbound shipments, transfers, returns, and will-call order staging and accuracy.
• Support At-Home Maintenance (AHM), Service Request Orders (SRO), and customer orders through proper pulling, staging, and readiness.
• Help ensure accurate inventory placement, cycle counts, and general inventory organization.
• Guide and support warehouse staff with daily priorities, task assignments, and workflow direction.
• Assist with training, onboarding, and cross-training of team members.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, including PPE and equipment safety standards.
• Communicate inventory or order issues to leadership as needed and support resolution efforts.
• Collaborate with Sales, Parts & Service, Retail Operations, and Store Leadership to support daily operational needs.
• Identify and support process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
