Job summary

Geneva10 seeks a Warehouse Lead to drive shipping operations and mentor staff in a fast-paced environment. You will lead daily tasks, optimize routes, and ensure on-time, accurate order fulfillment using WMS, ERP systems, and BI reporting.

You will coordinate carrier selection, oversee documentation, and maintain safety compliance while advancing continuous improvement initiatives. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of warehouse or logistics experience, with at least 1 year in a lead or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of shipping methods, routing practices, and freight terminology.
• Experience with WMS and shipping software.
• Forklift certification is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Motivate team members to ensure tasks completed daily for designated duties.
• Route and ship orders to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment using WMS, ERP, Power BI and shipping portals.
• Stand for an 8-hour shift.
• Coordinate daily outbound shipments, selecting proper carriers and routing (LTL, FTL, parcel).
• Review and approve shipping documents: bills of lading, packing lists, labels.
• Monitor and optimize shipping schedules, dock appointments, and carrier pickups.
• Work with transportation providers to resolve delays in transit.
• Ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA, and safety standards.
• Conduct daily audits to verify shipment accuracy, labeling, and routing.
• Communicate with customer service, sales, and inventory to resolve discrepancies.
• Train and mentor warehouse staff in shipping procedures, safety, and quality.
• Maintain a positive, flexible attitude and be ready to help at all costs.
• Ensure daily task completion before dismissing the team.
• Support inventory control: cycle counts and stock rotation.
• Report KPIs such as on-time shipping rate and carrier performance.
• Some maintenance tasks as needed.
