Job summary

Refresco Beverages US, Inc. in Lakeland, FL is seeking a Warehouse/Logistics professional to lead the loading team, coordinate shipments with trucking firms, and maintain inventory accuracy to meet customer demands.

The role requires forklift certification, a High School Diploma, and proficiency in SAP, Excel, and PowerPoint. You’ll support production operations and uphold safety and regulatory standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Forklift Certification required.
• Experience in Food/Beverage Manufacturing preferred.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, SAP and PowerPoint.
• Proven leadership experience in a production environment.
• Strong team player with good communication skills.
• Ability to analyze and solve problems under deadline pressures.
• Organized and detail oriented; adaptable to change.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Directs loading workforce to meet customer demands.
• Plans and executes logistic needs with trucking firms to ensure timely pickup and delivery while minimizing freight cost.
• Ensures inventory accuracy and consistency through processes.
• Reviews and resolves operational problems to minimize cost and delays.
• Demonstrates leadership to warehouse staff to ensure quality of work.
• Maintains clear communication of expectations and goals in the warehouse.
• Ensures compliance with OSHA, environmental standards and corporate policies.
• Focuses on safety, accident reduction, energy and waste minimization.
• Backs up Warehouse Supervisor duties as needed.

Dayshift: 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM (Continental/Block Schedule)

Pay Rate: $24/hour, Plus $1.00/Hour Shift Differential

Essential Duties:

• Establishes priorities and directs loading workforce to satisfy customer demands.
• Plan and executes logistic needs with trucking firms to ensure timely pick-up and delivery of shipments, while minimizing freight cost.
• Implements and enforces processes aimed to create a maximum inventory consistency and accuracy.
• Reviews and resolves operational problems to minimize cost and prevent operational delays.
• Demonstrates leadership to warehouse employees to ensure consistent quality of work.
• Maintains effective communication of expectations and goals throughout the Warehouse environment.
• Ensure compliance to all OHSA and environmental regulatory and corporate standards. Investigate and identify root causes of any non-compliance.
• Accountable for a safe working environment through the development of strategies focused on accident reduction as well as energy and waste minimization.
• Back up to Warehouse Supervisor responsibilities.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Forklift Certification required
• Experience in Food/ Beverage Manufacturing preferred
• Proficient in Excel, Word, SAP and Power Point
• Proven Leadership experience in a Production environment
• Strong team player
• Ability to analyze and solve problems, results oriented
• Able to work under deadline pressures
• Organized and detail oriented, adaptable to change
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to occasionally lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to continuously stand and/or walk for extended periods of time on concrete surface.
• Ability to repeatedly kneel, bend, crouch, climb and/or stoop throughout the shift as needed to successfully perform job duties.
• Successful completion of a post-offer drug screen and background check required.
