Job summary

Refresco Beverages US, Inc. in Lakeland, FL is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for the dayshift. You will establish priorities, direct the loading workforce, and coordinate with trucking firms to ensure on-time pickup and delivery of shipments.

This role emphasizes cost control, process enforcement, safety, and leadership of warehouse staff. The compensation includes a pay rate of $24/hour with a $1.00/hour shift differential, with opportunities to back up the Warehouse Supervisor as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Experience in Food/ Beverage Manufacturing preferred
• Proficient in Excel, Word, SAP and Power Point
• Proven Leadership experience in a Production environment
• Strong team player
• Ability to analyze and solve problems, results oriented
• Able to work under deadline pressures
• Organized and detail oriented, adaptable to change
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written

Responsibilities

• Establishes priorities and directs loading workforce to satisfy customer demands.
• Plan and executes logistic needs with trucking firms to ensure timely pick-up and delivery of shipments, while minimizing freight cost.
• Implements and enforces processes aimed to create a maximum inventory consistency and accuracy.
• Reviews and resolves operational problems to minimize cost and prevent operational delays.
• Demonstrates leadership to warehouse employees to ensure consistent quality of work.
• Maintains effective communication of expectations and goals throughout the Warehouse environment.
• Ensure compliance to all OHSA and environmental regulatory and corporate standards. Investigate and identify root causes of any non-compliance.
• Accountable for a safe working environment through the development of strategies focused on accident reduction as well as energy and waste minimization.
• Back up to Warehouse Supervisor responsibilities.

Physical Requirements:

• Must beable to occasionally lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to continuously stand and/or walk for extended periods of time on concrete surface.
• Ability to repeatedly kneel, bend, crouch, climb and/or stoop throughout the shift as needed to successfully perform job duties.
• Successful completion of a post-offer drug screen and background check required.
