Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, organizing, and coordinating daily warehouse activities to ensure efficient operations.
• Work alongside warehouse associates performing receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and material handling duties.
• Safely operate powered industrial trucks (PIT), including forklifts and pallet jacks, to move, load, unload, and stage products.
• Coordinate inbound shipments, including unloading, inspecting, receiving, and proper placement of inventory.
• Assist with inventory management, including maintaining accurate stock levels, verifying product locations, and conducting physical inventory counts.
• Monitor order picking, packing, and shipping activities to ensure accuracy and timely fulfillment.
• Perform quality inspections of incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Communicate with warehouse associates, supervisors, and management regarding daily priorities and operational needs.
• Ensure shipping and receiving documentation is accurate and completed according to company procedures.
• Promote safe work practices and maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment.
• Assist with training and providing guidance to warehouse associates as needed.
• Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.

As our business continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced and dependable Warehouse Lead to help support daily operations at our St. Charles facility.

The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of hands-on warehouse experience in powered industrial truck (PIT) operation, inbound receiving, order picking, and inventory management. This is a working lead position that requires strong operational knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to help coordinate daily warehouse activities while working alongside the team.

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on warehouse experience, with proficiency in PIT operation, inbound receiving, order picking, and inventory management.
• Experience with shipping, receiving, inventory accuracy, and warehouse management systems.
• Ability to coordinate daily warehouse activities while actively participating in warehouse operations.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and management.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work with minimal supervision.
• Commitment to workplace safety, productivity, and quality.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a warehouse lead or similar position.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience in a fulfillment or distribution center environment.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and perform other physical warehouse activities.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and typical warehouse noise levels.
