Johnson Brothers, a leading beverage distributor in West Virginia, is hiring for a full-time warehouse position with a focus on lead duties. You will handle load planning, paperwork, and orderly data entry while maintaining inventory accuracy and safe handling practices.

Responsibilities include coordinating order assignments, covering for managers when needed, and performing general warehouse duties to ensure timely shipments and quality control.

• Organize delivery paperwork and ensure accuracy.
• Productivity tracking and data entry for shipments.
• Organize work assignments and cover manager absence when needed.
• Issue, receive, pick and transfer product to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Safely operate and use manual and power equipment.
• Load/unload products to ensure safe handling and timely shipping.

Job Description:

Johnson Brothers is proud to supply all 55 counties in West Virginia with over 2,000 different varieties of Wine, Spirits, and Craft Beer.

Schedule:

• Shift hours starting at approximately Noon until completion
• Approximately 10-12 hours per shift
• 4 Day Work Week, Monday through Thursday

Lead Duties:

• Load planning and cubing of orders
• Organize delivery paperwork.
• Productivity tracking and data entry
• Organizing work assignments
• Cover manager absence when needed

Other Duties:

• Issue, receive, pick and transfer product to maintain accurate inventory.
• Maintain set work standards for picking orders.
• Safely operate and utilize manual and power equipment.
• Loading and unloading of product in an efficient and safe manner.
• Check product and packaging for quality purposes prior to shipping.
• Reviews orders for shipment to ensure accuracy.
• Other warehouse duties and activities as assigned.

Basic Requirements

• Must be a minimum of 18 years old
• Have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Ability to work independently, be self managed and motivated to meet deadlines
• Ability to pass the pre-employment screening: background check, drug test, and physical
