Job summary

STG Logistics in Pasadena, TX seeks a Warehouse Lead to oversee daily warehouse operations, guide associates, and ensure safe, accurate handling of products. You will be the first point of contact for staff and help coordinate workflows with the Warehouse Supervisor.

The role requires 2–3 years in warehouse or logistics, leadership experience preferred, forklift certification or willingness to obtain it, and strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of warehouse, logistics, or distribution experience.
• Leadership or lead experience preferred.
• Forklift certification or willingness to be trained.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical warehouse tasks.
• Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team to meet productivity, accuracy, and safety standards.
• Assign tasks and monitor progress of inbound, outbound, and inventory activities.
• Train and mentor team members on standard operating procedures, equipment use, and safety practices.
• Perform hands-on warehouse tasks, including picking, packing, loading/unloading, and inventory control.
• Assist with scheduling and shift planning as needed.
• Monitor equipment use and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Communicate daily goals, priorities, and updates to team members.
• Support cycle counts, audits, and inventory accuracy initiatives.
• Collaborate with supervisors and managers to identify process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• All other duties as assigned.
