Job summary

Texas Health and Human Services is hiring a Warehouse Lead III for the Lufkin State Supported Living Center warehouse in Pol lok, TX. The role supervises staff, manages stock, and coordinates daily warehouse activities to ensure timely supplies for residents.

The position emphasizes inventory control, staff training, forklift operations, and cross-training with the Warehouse Supervisor. Hours are Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm, with 20% travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited high school or GED.
• Experience supervising or leading the work of others.
• Experience in inventory control or material handling.
• Valid Class C Driver's License preferred.
• Forklift Driver Training completed within six months.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate staff duties: receiving, issuing, stocking, rotating stock and delivery coordination.
• Maintain inventory records, ensure accuracy and replenishment.
• Train staff on SharePoint procedures and operating instructions.
• Operate and train others on material handling equipment including forklift.
• Prepare reports and maintain warehouse records; ensure safety and compliance.
