Job summary

Sazerac Company is seeking a Warehouse Lead to guide daily warehouse operations, oversee forklift use, and ensure accurate receiving, storage, picking, and shipping of products. The role emphasizes leadership, problem solving, and maintaining an organized, fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years in warehouse or logistics roles, strong communication skills, and a focus on safety and process improvement within a beverage or CPG setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years of warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or logistics experience, including forklift operation.
• Previous experience providing direction, training, or day‑to‑day leadership to warehouse employees.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Experience with warehouse inventory systems, WMS, ERP systems, shipping and receiving, or inventory control.
• Experience in food, beverage, consumer packaged goods (CPG), or alcohol beverage manufacturing or distribution.
• Familiarity with forklift safety programs, customs‑bonded warehouse operations, Lean Manufacturing, 5S, or other continuous improvement practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support daily warehouse activities including order picking, finished goods receiving, forklift operations, inventory movement, and truck loading.
• Verify product counts and inventory transfers between production and the warehouse while maintaining accurate inventory records, including customs‑bonded inventory.
• Perform quality and quantity checks on outgoing products and ensure orders are accurately prepared and loaded for shipment.
• Coordinate incoming stock and warehouse activities while communicating with production, shipping, and other teams to resolve discrepancies and keep operations moving.
• Promote a safe, clean, and organized work environment while supporting forklift safety, training, continuous improvement, and day‑to‑day guidance of warehouse team members.
