Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Warehouse Operator to receive, store and ship products. You will unload, check in, and stock merchandise while maintaining accurate inventory in a fast-paced environment.

The role runs 40 hours weekly on a day shift (Tue–Sat), 5:00am–1:30pm with flexibility. Previous warehouse experience and ability to lift and stand for long periods are required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in warehouse operations preferred.
• High School diploma or GED or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to bend, reach, lift and stand for entire shift.
• Comfort working with heights 20-30 ft regularly.

Responsibilities

• Unloads trucks into the inbound area using a pallet jack or similar devices.
• Uses Warehouse Management System to check in products and stores refrigerated items when required.
• Stores products in warehouse locations and uses order picker or other devices for storage.
• Picks products from locations and loads them into outbound trucks.
• Follows SOPs to assess inventory, submit orders, and audit operations.
• Coordinates with Warehouse Supervisors to align on priorities.

What Warehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal Health

Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products (via prescribed service parameters) to a variety of internal and external customers.

Shift/Schedule

• 40 hours weekly
• Day shift
• Tuesday-Saturday
• 5:00am-1:30pm (Flexibility needed)
• Must work until tasks are completed
• Days scheduled are subject to change depending on needs and where they see you best fit.

Responsibilities

• Unloads trucks into the Inbound section by using a pallet jack or equivalent devices to put pallets out of the trucks
• Use Warehouse Management System to check in products. If working with specialty products, follow regulations to store refrigerated products
• Stores products in warehouse locations using order picker or other devices.
• Picks products from warehouse locations and loads into outbound trucks
• Follows standard operating procedures to assess inventory levels, submit orders, and audit warehouse operations to facilitate successful operational activities within the warehouse
• Coordinates with Warehouse Supervisors to align on warehouse and inventory priorities, in alignment with operational objectives

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience, preferred
• High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred
• Ability to bend, reach, lift and stand for entire shift
• Comfort working with heights 20-30 ft regularly
