Job summary

Openwork is seeking a Warehouse Lead in White, GA to drive daily distribution operations, oversee order fulfillment, and mentor a floor team in a state-of-the-art facility.

The role involves coordinating activities, maintaining inventory, leading temporary staff, enforcing safety, and reporting metrics to the Warehouse Manager. This hands-on leadership position requires strong organizational skills and a proactive approach.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience with inventory control.
• Active forklift certification and operating experience (preferred).
• Ability to lead temporary labor and delegate tasks.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift/move materials.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily warehouse activities including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, shipping.
• Assign tasks, prioritize workloads, ensure orders meet deadlines.
• Maintain inventory records and conduct cycle counts.
• Lead temporary staff to maximize productivity and quality.
• Enforce safety, inspect equipment, and report hazards.
• Provide daily updates to Warehouse Manager.
