Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking a dependable Warehouse Lead to coach and train warehouse associates while managing daily tasks. You will back up supervisors, oversee shipping/receiving, inventory, and material handling operations, and ensure safety and efficiency in a fast-paced facility.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in warehousing with leadership experience, a valid forklift operator license, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years prior warehouse/distribution operations experience.
  • 6 months leadership or supervisory experience in a distribution environment.

Responsibilities

  • Coach and train warehouse associates and forklift drivers.
  • Perform PIT operations and annual recertifications.
  • Complete paperwork per SOPs and regulatory requirements (DOT, IATA, IMDG).
  • Participate in inventory/cycle count activities and report variances.

The job is responsible to coach and train teammates to fulfill their individual daily tasks in addition to the Lead’s own tasks. The Lead may have various responsibilities based on the specific department, this can include, but is not limited to shipping/receiving, packaging, inventory control, general warehouse functions or material handling operators (i.e. forklift operators).
