Kenco Logistics Services, LLC is seeking a Warehouse Lead in Hutchins, TX to coach and train warehouse staff, supervise daily tasks, and back up supervisors as needed. The role covers shipping/receiving, inventory control, and safety compliance to ensure efficient distribution operations.

The position requires leadership experience, forklift certifications, and the ability to manage multiple duties in a fast-paced environment with potential overtime/weekend work.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred and able to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Minimum 2 years warehouse/distribution operations experience and 6 months leadership or supervisory experience.
• Must be able to operate a reach truck, EPJ, and sit-down forklift.
• Must have basic computer skills.
• Flexible with hours; overtime and weekend work may be required.

Responsibilities

• Coach and train warehouse associates and forklift drivers.
• Provide backup to supervisor and cover multiple warehouse functions as needed.
• Perform shipping/receiving, packaging, inventory control, and other general warehouse tasks.
• Complete paperwork per SOPs and regulatory requirements (DOT, IATA, IMDG, etc.).
• Participate in inventory/cycle counts and report variances to leadership.
• Conduct safety inspections and lead PPE and PIT operation training.

The job is responsible to coach and train teammates to fulfill their individual daily tasks in addition to the Lead’s own tasks. The Lead may have various responsibilities based on the specific department, this can include, but is not limited to shipping/receiving, packaging, inventory control, general warehouse functions or material handling operators (i.e. forklift operators).
